Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) has announced that Grant LaMontagne has been named president, customer development. In his new role, LaMontagne will lead all sales and customer development activities for Kimberly-Clark’s operations in North America and will report to KCNA group president Michael Hsu. LaMontagne joins KCNA from Clorox, where he most recently held the position of senior vice president, general manager for Clorox Professional Products business, which includes the health care, janitorial/sanitary and institutional foods channels for Clorox. “Grant is a talent builder, with a passion for recruiting, training and developing world- class talent,” Hsu says. “In his more than 30 years with Clorox, he helped to drive considerable growth across the company’s portfolio with a focus on strengthening the capability of the customer organization. We are pleased to have a leader of Grant’s experience and talent join our team.” LaMontagne joined Clorox in 1980 and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility including vice president, sales, where he was responsible for the customer organization worldwide. In 2009, LaMontagne was promoted to senior vice president, chief customer officer, and was appointed to the executive committee of Clorox. He has also served as chairman for the Grocery Manufacturers Association sales committee and on the Enacuts USA national advisory committee.
